Finnish alternative metal pioneer Sara will release their 11th album in January and embark on an extensive club tour across Finland. The new album, released on 22 January 2027, is titled Í heiminum, which is Icelandic for “In the World”. The album’s first single, Harhailija, is now available on streaming services. The tour arrives at Toppila Klubi on 12 February 2027.

Founded in Kaskinen in 1995, Sara has followed an exceptionally distinctive path in the Finnish music scene. The band is known for its visually impressive live shows, captivating riffs and the unique, sensitive vocals of singer-guitarist Joa Korhonen. Sara’s previous album, Hallava, cemented the band’s position at the top of Finnish alternative metal. The album went straight to the top of Finland’s physical album chart and was named Album of the Year 2025 by the critics of both Soundi and Inferno. Featuring songs including Anhedonia and Valtameri on ovella, the album also earned the band an Emma nomination in the Metal of the Year category.

The album release tour was the band’s most successful to date, featuring several sold-out rock clubs and major festivals, and culminating in Sara’s 30th anniversary show at the sold-out Tavara-asema in Tampere in November 2025.
